Job Duties:

Field Crop Worker Work corn, tomatoes, almonds, wheat, and alfalfa. Perform planting, bloom picking, runner setting, watering, weeding, planting-growing-trimming, and pest control. Work in a support role for trim operations during harvest. Install and maintain irrigation systems, apply, and remove plastic covers to fields, clear fields of debris, and lift up to 60 pounds. Workers may operate tractors, to apply fertilizer, chemicals, and harvest crops. For the harvest of crops, equipment provided will include a swather, hay rake, and baler. Driving tractor: The worker will drive a tractor to cultivate and prepare fields for planting the crops. Field Maintenance: To repair irrigation equipment such as PVC pipe, drip tape, and valves. All to have equipment in a good running state during the field planting, and service during harvest. Repairer irrigation: Equipment provided: tractors, swathers, shovel, reciprocating saw, wrenches.
