Job Duties:

Workers duties included but not limited to: driving tractors and/or trucks to prepare fields from planting sugarcane, putting fertilizer, drive tractors pulling a mechanic planter or trailer hauling seed cane, walking behind manual can planting wagons, drive tractors during harvest, repair and maintenance on farm equipment and vehicles, cleaning equipment, shovel work, walking fields checking for diseases and grass, spraying herbicides from a backpack sprayer, drainage, field sanitation, duties, maintaining the yard around the office, equipment sites, living quarters, etc. Understanding basic English commands will be required. Cell phones use will not be permitted unless at the express instruction of the farmer. Drug tests may be performed post hire at no cost to the workers to ensure worker safety and keep in compliance with workers compensation guidelines. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination. Worker must abide all posted work and safety rules. Workers must be physically able to perform all duties described.
