- Job Duties:
- Worker will operate tractors, tractor drawn agricultural implements and specialty apple orchard machinery. Workers must have a minimum of 3 months of verifiable work experience driving 75hp or larger tractors and orchard machinery, and operating tractor drawn implements/agricultural machinery. Worker must have good communication skills, for coordination and notification. Worker will occasionally prepare soil for planting trees, plant trees, remove trees, prune trees, harvest apples, weeding, building trellis for trees, apply pesticides and herbicides, organize materials and tools, cleaning, mowing, grafting, as well as perform other regular orchard duties. Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions, stand and walk long periods of time, use sharp instruments, able to do ladder work.
