Job Duties:

Flood and pivot irrigation of hay meadows; Maintaining, repairing, and monitoring of 3-mile water delivery canal, reservoir and meadow ditches; Movement of livestock between designated ranch pastures including BLM, United State Forest Service and private grazing permits; Livestock responsibilities such as checking physical characteristics and observing general condition of livestock including illness/injury/disease, applying or administering medications or vaccines as needed, and maintaining animal inventory and health records; Maintain and improve ranch fences and gates, electric fences, corrals, roads and trails; Management of weeds and fire mitigation measures; Maintain and improve ranch houses, grounds, barns, buildings and other structures and improvements; Maintain and monitor ranch security and prohibit recreational, hunting or other trespass.
