Job Duties:
1. Operators of innovative and advanced harvest picking equipment o Operate innovative and advanced harvest picking equipment. o The equipment consists of a diesel-powered picking tower with the capacity to extend over four meters high and carry over seventy kg. of crop. o Operate the equipment with extreme care and subject to strict safeguards. o Operate the equipment delicately to harvest all crop from the mango tree. o Carefully operate and maneuver the equipment among the trees, plantation rows, other moving working equipment and team members to designated bins on custom made harvest transport equipment. o Carefully unload harvested crop from the equipment to the bin on custom made harvest transport equipment. o Perform quality control inspection of the trees, fruit & bin to ensure work performed per instructions. o To the extent necessary, for reason beyond the control of the employer including and not limited due to fire, weather, or other Act of God, mechanical malfunction and/or section condition, the employee may be required to perform manual harvesting of the fruit into harvesting bags which can carry at least 50 pounds of fruit and carefully unload each bag to the harvest bins and all subject to the sole discretion of the Employer. 2. Operators of innovative, advanced and custom-made crop transport equipment o Operate innovative, advanced and custom-made crop transport equipment. o The equipment consists of a tractor towing a bin trailer at least thirty meters long and a minimum of twelve bins with a total net crop weight of at least three tons. o Possess prior experience operating tractor towing agricultural transport equipment. o Operate the equipment with extreme care and subject to strict safeguards. o Operate equipment delicately to transport all crop from the plantation to the packing house for unloading. o Carefully operate and maneuver the equipment among the trees, plantation rows, other moving working equipment and team members. o Perform quality control inspection of the trees, fruit & bin to ensure work performed per instructions. o Control, drive and maneuver the equipment from the plantation under challenging outdoor conditions to the packing house for unloading full bins directly into the line of production. o Control, drive and maneuver the equipment at the packing house unloading zone with precision to enable efficient unloading of the full bins into the production line. o Control, drive and maneuver the equipment from the unloading full bin position to the loading empty bin position at the packing house to enable efficient and precise loading of empty bins to be transported back to the plantation. o Control, drive and maneuver the equipment from the packing house under challenging outdoor conditions to the plantation for loading crop directly into the bins on the transport equipment. 3. Post-Harvest Pruning o Operate industrial extended pole pruners and chainsaws in the scope of the post-harvest pruning cycle to reshape the tree per supervisor instruction. o This equipment consists of heavy (at least 15 kg.) gasoline powered industrial pole pruners and chainsaws designed for rugged agricultural pruning. o The position consists of precise pruning of mango tree branches some over 20.00 cm in diameter. Many of the trees may extend over four meters in height. o Operate the equipment with extreme care and subject to strict safeguards. o Operate the equipment delicately to prune all defined material. o Carefully operate and maneuver the equipment among the trees, plantation rows, other moving working equipment and team members. o Perform manual debris collection including of rugged and heavy pruned branches. o Perform functional checks and servicing necessary while operating the equipment including gasoline/oil refills, filter cleaning etc.

Special Requirements:
o Ability to perform work: Outdoors daily and for at least eight consecutive hours. Under harsh weather conditions including extreme heat, exposure to direct sunlight, high humidity, and rain events. Subject to rigorous outdoor setting including swarms of mosquitos, bees and other pests common in agricultural surrounding. o The nature of the work and its related conditions require: Tremendous stamina. High level of physical conditioning. Perseverance. o Workers should expect working hours to vary and occasional periods of little or no work because of weather, crop, or other conditions beyond the employers control. These periods can occur any time throughout the season. o Ability to perform work under high pressure of an intense seasonal agricultural operation in which deadlines and harvest plans must be strictly adhered to and in a timely fashion. o Must be able reach, bend and lift/carry objects weighing at least 50 pounds.
