Job Duties:

We need seasonal employees to assist with our crop production season of corn and soybeans. Employees will need to assist with planting, spraying and harvesting of crops and delivering seed. Employees will also need to assist with cattle during the summer months by moving cattle to pastures. In the spring employees will need to assist with calving. After cattle are returned to pastures, no further care or assistance is needed. Employees will be mowing and baling hay. Job duties will include: prepare fields for planting, attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools, operate tractors, sprayers, manure spreaders, operate other farm equipment, load and unload crops or materials, manually or using conveyors, forklifts, or transfer augers, observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions, attach equipment extensions or accessories, load crops and unload crops, drive farm trucks to haul crops, supplies, and tools, inspect, adjust, and complete routine maintenance and repairs on equipment clean stalls, pens, and equipment, using disinfectant solutions, brushes, shovels, water hoses, or pumps, drive trucks, tractors, and other equipment to distribute feed to animals, feed and water livestock and monitor food and water supplies, operate farming equipment, transport animals, crops, or equipment. Employer may provide pay increases for performance, longevity and/or experience at employer’s discretion. Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employer’s discretion.
