- Job Duties:
- Attend to live farm, ranch animals including cattle and horses such as feeding/supplementing, watering, branding, leading, tying, catching, loading animals; Freshen bedding and remove manure; Examine animals to detect diseases and injuries; Operate farm vehicle such as UTV, lawnmower, small tractor; Maintain animal housing areas including cleaning stalls and barn; Maintain records such as pictures and videos of livestock; Restrain livestock for farrier and chiropractor; Recapture any escaped animals; Assist in birthing, weaning, and marketing; Inspect, maintain, and repair equipment, machinery, buildings, pens, yards, and fences.
