- Job Duties:
- Attend to live farm animals by checking, working, feeding, birthing; Move livestock from one location to another daily for rotational grazing; Inspect, maintain, fashion, repair equipment, machinery, buildings, pens, yards, and fences such as screwing down/replacing material that blows of from a storm, repair posts that animals or equipment damage, sheltering animals and feed; Clean work areas and housing by cutting grass, removing tree limbs, performing minor repairs; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery to plant and harvest crops such as hay, pasture; Set up and operate irrigation equipment such as setting new water lines and troughs; Must be self motivated, detail oriented, and able to work with others.
