Job Duties:

Work may include but not limited to tilling, seeding, cultivating, and harvesting crops (hay, corn, soy beans). Job sometimes involves lifting 50 pound bags and requires driving various types of vehicles including trucks, tractors and attachments, four-wheelers, and gators. The employer will train the employee on proper handling procedures prior to the start of work. Work is demanding in varying weather conditions. A valid driver license through work contract, and one month of similar general agricultural experience are required. Alternate work may be required during extended inclement weather conditions. Alternate work may include but is not limited to tractor & machine and other vehicle maintenance and repair, hauling manure, and assisting with livestock care. The employer will furnish without cost all tools, supplies, or equipment required in the performance of work. 20 CFR 655.122(f). A minimum of 35 hours of work per week is guaranteed, although more hours will be available over 35. Any overtime above 35 hours is optional, and not mandatory for worker/s.
