- Job Duties:
- ONet Code 45-2091.00 - Agricultural Equipment Operators: Planting, cultivating and harvesting soybean and corn row crops. Duties include: Operate equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors and combines. Attach farm implements such as plow, disc, and drill to tractor and drive tractor in field to till soil, plant and spray crops. Unload grain onto conveyors to storage bins and elevators. Adjust, repair, and service farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions. Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, or tools. ONET Code 45-2092.00 - Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery, and Greenhouse Perform general farm maintenance. Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment. Clean work areas, and maintain grounds and landscaping. Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures.
