Job Duties:
We are a no-till crop farm located in central South Dakota. Our family farms around 5200 acres of crops that can consist of winter wheat, corn, soybeans, spring wheat, sunflowers, and millet. We need employees to assist with all aspects of raising these crops. A workday can constitute a wide variety of jobs. One day you may be shoveling bin bottoms and hauling commodities with the semi-trucks to terminals. Some days consist of equipment maintenance and beautification in the shop, such as rebuilding planters, oil changes and washing and cleaning of equipment or mowing and general farmyard upkeep some possible fence fixing. Other workdays can consist of running a no-till drill, corn planter, land roller, grain cart, hauling harvested commodities to our bin site or tendering water and chemicals to our self-propelled sprayer or tendering product to different planters. Hauling our farm commodities with farm trucks to terminals. Spot spraying or operation of a sprayer may be a possibility. Employees must be able to drive a semi with a 13 speed or 18 Speed manual transmission is a must. Smoking in any of the equipment or buildings will not be tolerated. Job requires general farm duties as assigned. Employees will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment. Per state regulations, employer is exempt from a commercial CDL requirement for farm trucking. No commercial trucking is required.

Job requires extensive sitting, walking, repetitive movements, frequent stooping and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Job requires a regular drivers license or equivalent within 30 days of hire. Require 3 months experience.
