- Job Duties:
- Worker will be required to complete the following activities as directed by supervisor: moving and arranging greenhouse plants, flats, pots and baskets; watering plants, including irrigation and hose setup; nursery stock planting, transplanting, harvesting and maintenance; staking, tying of tomatoes and jalapenos; harvesting of tomatoes, pickles, sweet corn, pumpkins, gourds, zucchini, squash, jalapenos and dill; weeding, hoeing, fertilizing, seeding, pruning, clipping, positioning and training plants on trellises; pest control; moving buckets, bins and pallets; applying herbicides; preparing soil and clearing property; spreading compost; operating a tractor as directed on farm property only; wooden containers maintenance and repair; and general maintenance and clean up, including removing trash and debris. If worker is eligible to drive under Michigan law, worker may drive employer provided vehicle to and from worksites and to other locations as directed.

- Special Requirements:
- Job requires worker to complete tasks in general farm labor for greenhouse, nursery, tomatoes, pickling cucumbers, sweet corn, pumpkins, gourds, zucchini, squash, jalapeos, and dill. Employer will provide instructions and training on specific job duties. Experience Requirement: 3 verifiable months of commercial agriculture experience required. Applicants must furnish job references from recent employers within the last 3 years establishing acceptable prior experience. Drug testing done at employer's expense and not utilized as preemployment tool.
