Job Duties:

Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2092 Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, and Nursery: Measure and set flags, record data; Harvest; Record information about crops such as pesticide use, yields, or costs; Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops including preparing, sorting, cleaning, packaging, scanning, labeling seed; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) such as planter, sprayer, combine, thresher, forklift to spray and harvest crops such as soybeans, corn; Load inputs and drive trucks to transport to fields; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Maintain inventory, take field notes, sort envelopes; Attach implements using hand tools; Position boxes/bags at ends of machinery to catch products, remove and close full containers; Communicate and work with others; Pass DOL physical post hire at employer's expense; Speak English.
