- Job Duties:
- Operate self-propelled equipment such as truck with trailer in the process of reaping, harvesting, threshing, swathing or winnowing crops such as wheat, alfalfa, corn; Load crops onto trucks by driving alongside harvesting machine in the field while driving over crop residue and through muddy, dry, dusty field conditions without stopping, maintain appropriate distance; Perform manual or mechanical adjustments; Perform safety checks; Weigh and record weights and identifying information; Drive truck with trailer to transport crops to elevators, silos, or other storage areas; Workers will not assist in duties like planting, cultivating, or grain cleaning; All duties to be performed are those involved in harvesting crops.
