Job Duties:

Perform duties on a farm for a farm like: Drive and operate harvesting machines or custom cutting machinery to harvest a variety of grain and oil-seed crops, and cotton during downtime from clients’ farms. Adjust speeds of cutters, blowers and conveyors, and weight of cutting head, using hand tools. Change the cutting head as appropriate for the crop. Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools, or farm workers. Service machinery and make incidental in-field repairs. General service to equipment like regular oil checks, and making sure equipment is safe to operate.

Special Requirements:

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Frequent stooping is required. Employer requires drug screen and background check post hire at employer's expense due to the liability of operating expensive tools and equipment on the farm.
