- Job Duties:
- Care and maintenance of large-scale beekeeping equipment; operate trucks and forklifts that may be used in moving equipment, and lifting/carry supers of honey daily; help assemble and paint boxes; feed and medicate beehives; perform honey extraction; stand for long periods of time in any weather condition (temperatures may reach above 90 degrees at times during harvest); work in a team environment and take instruction well; find and cage queens, install queen cells; assemble bee hives, insert honeycomb of bees into hives; force bees from hives; uncap harvested honeycombs; move bee boxes.
