Job Duties:

Primary function is to safely operate company owned vehicles and trailers to complete deliveries which will include transporting trees, shrubs, hardwood mulch, topsoil and other related materials to the customer’s job site or holding yards throughout Michigan, Upper and central Great Lakes states. The driver must operate company owned vehicles in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations while abiding by company policies and procedures. Drivers may assist loading and unloading materials from trucks, pallets, wagons, racks to complete the delivery process. Drivers will be responsible for ensuring vehicles are cleaned and maintained, complete daily vehicle inspections, complete logbooks, must be able to lift 50 lbs., and must possess CDL driver’s license and medical &/or DOT card that remains valid through the duration of this contract. Other duties may include watering, burlapping, tarping of outbound loads. Worker must be able to communicate in English and have 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience required for the safe operation of loaded trailers on public roadways. Drug screenings are performed randomly, upon suspicion, accident or incidence and are at the expense of the employer. Failure or refusal of a drug screen is grounds for immediate termination.
