Job Duties:

Worker will be required to complete the following activities as instructed by supervisor: plant, spray, weed, fertilize, water, prune, hoe, stake, and harvest to quality standards Apples, Asparagus, Blackberries, Cherries, Corn Stalks, Cucumber, Eggplant, Flowers, Green Beans, Gourds, Grain, Herbs, Lavender, Peaches, Peppers, Pumpkins, Raspberries, Rhubarb, Saskatoon, Strawberries, Squash, Tomato, Tomatillo, and Zucchini; prepare fields for planting; operate forklifts, tractors, trucks, and other farm equipment during field operations incidental to the production and harvest of the various crops; general farm, field and orchard maintenance and clean up tasks, including mowing grass; maintain harvest containers, buckets, bags, bins, baskets, trays, and other equipment; trim, train, trellis, prune, thin and tie plants and fruit trees; seed, transplant, prune, maintain, and harvest flowers, including annual and perennial plants; set up, operate, and maintain irrigation equipment; and packing activities including clean, sort, grade fruits and vegetables, and load, stack, repair and assemble boxes and bins. Job requires worker to complete tasks in general farm labor and hand harvest of Apples, Asparagus, Blackberries, Cherries, Corn Stalks, Cucumber, Eggplant, Flowers, Green Beans, Gourds, Grain, Herbs, Lavender, Peaches, Peppers, Pumpkins, Raspberries, Rhubarb, Saskatoon, Strawberries, Squash, Tomato, Tomatillo, Zucchini. Employer will provide instructions and training on specific job duties. Experience Requirement: 3 verifiable months commercial agriculture experience required. Applicants must furnish job references from employers of the last 5 years establishing acceptable prior experience. Drug testing done at employers expense and will not be used as a preemployment tool.
