- Job Duties:
- Crops: Organic specialty crops. Manually plant, cultivate, and harvest organic specialty crops. Use hand tools, such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, and knives. Duties may include tilling soil and applying fertilizers; transplanting, weeding, thinning, or pruning crops. All weeding/thinning work will be performed in compliance with 8 Cal. Code Regulations Section 3437, 3456(b-c) - any hand-held tool used for this work will have a handle of four (4) feet or more in length.” Field harvesting and packing organic specialty crops into boxes and loading into trucks.
