- Job Duties:
- We swath and bale alfalfa, brome, side oats, big bluestem, little blue stem, Indian grass and prairie hay. There will be countless hours running a swather, rake and baler (round and square balers) during our hay making season which starts in April and ends in December. We produce hay for our own cattle herd. We need employees to assist with our hay productions season. Employees will need to stack hay including small square bales onto trailers and into barns. Employees will also need to load, unload and haul bales to storage. Employees will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment. Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employer’s discretion.
