- Job Duties:
- Clean, repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Set up, repair, maintain, and operate center pivot, side roll, and sprinkler irrigation equipment; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as corn, alfalfa, barley, pecans; Load agricultural products into trucks without over or underfilling bed or trailer; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Regulate conditions; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; Mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery; Attach implements using hand tools; Position boxes/bags at ends of machinery to catch products, remove and close full containers.
