Job Duties:
Workers will be required to perform all duties necessary to propagate, plant, grow, and harvest a variety for produce. Pre-harvest activities may include preparation of soil for planting using fertilizer, additives, and mulch. Prior to harvesting produce, prepared growing areas will require hoeing, staking, tying, running, weeding, irrigation, removing culls, rock picking, and any additional duties required for the planting, harvest, marketing, and general care of produce. Harvested produce will be placed in containers, as applicable, such as sacks, boxes, bins, baskets, etc. Workers will discard rotten or unacceptable produce and all other unwanted debris before placing in containers. Workers will load containers of harvested produce onto trailers, attached to tractors, and/or trucks and haul the harvest produce from fields to instructed locations. Produce will be ready for harvest as applicable to specific produce such as size, color, shape, and maturity. Workers will being harvest of crops at various times from summer to fall as required and at supervisor's instruction. Extreme care not to bruise or damage produce must be taken at all times. Workers will pack produce, load/unload trucks, and stack containers for storage or market. Work site must be cleaned daily. Tools or equipment must be cleaned or repaired as applicable. Workers may be required to preform additional activities such as mow/bale hay or sod, dig ditches, clean/repair fences, cut firewood, move rock piles, feed/care for farm animals, work with irrigation systems, maintain grounds and buildings, operate tractor and other farm equipment, and other duties necessary on farm/worksite as required by employer. Must have job experience working on farm and must be physically able to perform all job activities required. The employer agrees to provide a copy of the work contract to H-2A workers in a language understood by the worker as necessary and reasonable. The employer agrees to provide employment to any qualified, eligible U.S. worker who applies to the employer until 50 percent of the period of the work contract has elapsed.

Workers will be exposed to extreme temperatures due to the seasonal nature of the job. It can become every hot in the summer and very cold in the winter. Workers will be required to extensively push and pull objects during the course of normal labor activities due to the nature of the job. Workers will be required to extensively sit and walk during the course of normal labor activities due to the nature of the job. Workers will be required to frequently stoop and bend over during the course of normal labor activities due to the nature of the job. Workers will be required to preform repetitive movements during the course of normal labor activities due to the nature of the job.
