- Job Duties:
- Operating large farm equipment and machinery equipped with GPS such as tractor, sprayer combine, grain cart, mower, baler, tillage tool for cultivating, tilling, fertilizing, planting, moving, storing, harvesting grain and oilseed crops such as hay, wheat, sunflowers, corn, cotton, soybeans, milo, silage; servicing equipment; assisting with the operation and maintenance of irrigation systems for watering crops; loading inputs and driving trucks to transport to fields, loading crops and driving trucks to transport to fields and storage facilities such as elevators, bins, silos, piles/bags; cleaning work areas and maintaining grounds and landscaping; informing farm managers of crop progress; attaching implements using hand tools; driving farm vehicle; minor daily and incidental upkeep to equipment, worksite, farm structures.
