- Job Duties:
- 1. Preparing ground, seeding, applying chemicals, picking/harvesting, lifting 100 lb. pumpkins/trays/buckets, weeding, raking and other manual tasks for fruits, vegetables, pumpkins and similar crops, covering plants, irrigating/draining areas, climbing ladders, general grounds clean up at start and end of season.--50% 2. Cut/pull out brush by roots, cut tree limbs with hand tools and chain saws, climb/work on ladders, carry 100 lbs. of limbs and other items, shovel dirt and gravel, pick up rocks, etc. --20% 3. Drive tractors, skid steer, utility vehicles, lawn care/garden equipment, pickup trucks, etc.--10% 4. Repair/construct farm buildings, growing facilities, living quarters, etc. 4. repair wire fence, dig and install drainage tile.--5% 5. Other duties as assigned. --5%
