- Job Duties:
- Manually plant, cultivate, and harvest vegetables, fruits, and field crops. Use hand tools, such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, and knives. Duties may include tilling soil, transplanting, weeding, thinning or pruning crops; cleaning, packing, and loading harvested products. May construct trellises, repair fences and farm buildings, or participate in irrigation activities. FRUIT/VEGETABLES list as follows: Strawberries, asparagus, lettuce, raspberries, spring onion, broccoli, cauliflower, peach tree, sweet corn, eggplant, summer squash, peppers, nectarines, plums, green beans, tomatoes, watermelon, cantaloupe and canary melon, winter squash and pumpkin.
