- Job Duties:
- Crops: corn and soybeans Job duties will be the same for planting and harvesting corn and soybeans. Job duties include but are not limited to operating various farm equipment and machinery equipped with GPS to prepare ground, plant, spray, irrigate, harvest, and transport crops to the elevator during harvest. Equipment that employees operate includes but is not limited to tractors, tractors with various implements attached, sprayer, trackhoe, forklift, bagger, retractor, and ATV. Non-CDL farm trucks will be loaded with agricultural products and driven on the farm and to storage facilities. Duties will also include occasional repair work on sheds as needed; general upkeep on all farm equipment; general upkeep on farm sheds, shop, and grain storage facility; cutting grass with riding lawn mower; weed eating around fences around the shop and sheds, and driving non-CDL farm trucks to obtain parts and supplies. Employees will also perform manual labor such as washing and cleaning equipment when needed, loading seed into seed buggy, properly mixing chemicals, changing combine cutting heads, assisting with the operation and maintenance of irrigation systems, and ensuring operational areas are organized and well maintained. Employees will also be responsible for upkeep of farm housing. Daily duties may vary depending on crop, weather, and field conditions.

- Workers must have a valid, insurable drivers license or be eligible to apply for same at no cost to the worker. Workers must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Must possess at least 3 months of experience working on a farm or other agricultural environment.
