Job Duties:

On farms, the General Ag Laborer(s) will be responsible for performing a variety of duties related to the construction of agricultural buildings including grain bins. Duties will include loading, unloading and transporting of supplies, tools and equipment; using basic hand tools; prepping concrete and finishing; cleaning and preparing construction site where concrete will be poured; positioning and dismantling forms for pouring concrete; spreading, leveling, and smoothing concrete using rakes, shovels, or hand tools; building and erecting walls and trusses; and cleaning up the construction site. Workers will be required to work on their feet, bend, stoop, lift, carry items weighing up to 60lbs, and be exposed to extreme temperatures.

The General Ag Laborer(s) need to be able to carry and lift up to 60lbs. Additionally, the worker must be in good health to perform labor activities, no limitation to bend or carry weight under regulated laws or norms of weight and safety procedures), and be comfortable with working in extreme temperatures as the work will occur outside. Must also follow instructions correctly as well as company rules.
