- Job Duties:
- On farms, help lead workers install, maintain and repair grain bins for farmers. Majority of the work will be on existing grain bin sites to repair, maintain or replace older bins. Under the direction of a supervisor, workers will assemble prefabricated grain bin parts. They will work with a teammate to install replacement parts including fans, augers and belts. They will insert bolts, washers, and nuts to shore-up bin walls. Caulking is applied to seams and lifting is required to put bin walls in place. An electric wrench is then used to tighten the bolts. May assist with the manual labor of installing or repairing grain concrete bin floors. Must be able to lift and carry 75lbs for 75yds.
