Job Duties:

RESPONSIBILITIES Workers will perform duties associated with and directly related to strawberries/raspberries miscellaneous jobs. These miscellaneous jobs are done before, during, or after the strawberry harvest. They consist of the following. 1. Weeding strawberry fields. 2. Cutting runners, cleaning runners. 3. Planting strawberries, pruning, Training plants cutting roots. 4. Irrigating, operating machinery, loading strawberries, installing and removing plastic, shovel work. RESPONSIBILITIES Workers will perform duties associated with and directly related to strawberries harvest work, picking and packing berries in field for fresh market. 1. Workers are required to distinguish quality and ripeness. 2. Workers will pick, and place in tray /packing containers in the field. 3. Once packing containers are put in shipping boxes they will be carried out of field and placed in the loading area. 4. Worker will start the process over again until the end of the day or the work order is completed.
