Job Duties:
Employees will plant and harvest the cucumbers. They will need to operate a cucumber harvester, tractors, dump cart and other farm equipment. Employees will also have to move equipment as necessary between fields. After all the cucumbers are harvested, they will need to be hauled to the shed for sorting. Employees will assist with sorting and all aspects of cucumber farming as required. Must be able to drive a fork truck. Complete routing maintenance and infield repairs on equipment. Put together the grading shed equipment. This includes installing belts and conveyors, cleaning and testing the cooling systems, prepping the trailers and yard equipment. Employer may provide pay increases for performance, longevity and/or experience at employer’s discretion. Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employer’s discretion.
