- Job Duties:
- Workers will be performing all activities related to beekeeping. - They must have knowledge of all bees stages and how to feed and treat them. -They will make splits. -Check for weak hives and replace queens. - Moves beehives weighing around 75 pounds. - Drive the trucks to the bee locations and put empty boxes on the hives. -Take the honey off the beehives and extract the honey. -Barrel the honey into drums. -Move the beehives with the forklifts and trucks to a stockpile yard at the end of the season. - Worker needs to have at least three months of experience on the job. - Workers need to be able to drive.
