Job Duties:

Operate agricultural equipment and hand and power tools of all types. Maintain vineyard and grounds with mowers, weed control and equipment. Plant, cultivate, maintain, move, and harvest grape vines. Prepare land for planting. Maintain and harvest other varieties of fruit such as apples and blackberries. Spray vines and fruit with herbicides, pesticides, and fungicides. Install, inspect and repair irrigation equipment, bird netting and trellis. May perform general indoor tasks or post-harvest activities (e.g., packing or moving products to storage at winery facility) when outdoor vineyard work is not available. Label, pack and fulfill wine shipment orders. Plant, cultivate, cut, and maintain flowers and beds. Cut, fertilize and maintain pastures and bail hay. Maintain agricultural buildings/facilities. Construction duties for farm improvements such as moving grapevines/crops and landscape for expansion, watering gravel for grading. Maintenance of tools & equipment and other work as directly related to the crop activities for which the worker is hired.

Special Requirements:

Monday-Friday. Employer may request, but not require, workers to work more than the stated daily hours. Saturday's may be required, work hours and start/end times may vary depending on weather and conditions of crops. 1 month experience required operating agricultural equipment. Background Check;Random drug testing during employment;Pre-employment drug testing required;Post-Accident Drug Testing. All drug testing is performed without regard to an employees citizenship or immigration status, and all testing is paid for by the company. All background checks are performed equally as to U.S. workers and H-2A workers, and all fees are paid for by the company.
