Job Duties:

We farm cotton, corn, peanuts, and blueberries. We need seasonal workers to run John Deere equipment with GPS from Mach until December. Employees will need to run tractors, cotton pickers, peanut combines, sprayers and other farm equipment with Green Star GPS systems. Employees will assist with all aspects of raising these crops including planting, spraying, harvesting, picking and hauling the crops. Must be able to do general farm duties. Prepare fields for planting, attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools, operate tractors, planters, sprayers, manure spreaders, irrigation equipment, engage in planting, weeding, spraying and/or harvesting activities, spray fertilizer or pesticide solutions to control insects, fungus and weed growth, and diseases, using hand sprayers, install, maintain and repair pivot irrigation systems, load hoppers, containers, or conveyors to feed machines with products, using forklifts, transfer augers, suction gates, shovels, or pitchforks, mix specified materials or chemicals, and dump solutions, powders, or seeds into machinery, load crops and unload crops, operate equipment to harvest crops, record agricultural data, drive pickups to haul crops, supplies, and tools, inspect, adjust, and complete routine maintenance and repairs on equipment clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping, plant, spray, weed, fertilize, water, and prune plants, shrubs, and trees, using gardening tools, harvest agricultural products operate farming equipment Employees will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment.

Job requires exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures, extensive sitting or walking, frequent stooping or bending over, repetitive movements. Must be able to lift 30lbs. Must have a regular driver's license. Requires 2 months farm experience.
