- Job Duties:
- This contract encompasses general farm labor and labor for apples (varieties: Gala and Honey Crisp) and cherries (varieties: Skeena). This job requires harvesting of cherries and apples; picking, thinning, training, pruning and weed control. All jobs may be performed from a motorized platform, the ground or from a ladder. The worker must possess the ability to pick up and handle a 10ft. or 12ft. orchard ladder weighing up to 40lbs. There are general conditions of employment, general job specifications and individual requirements that are specific to each job duty. See Addendum C: A.8a – Additional Job Duties.
