Job Duties:

Worker will be required to complete the following activities as directed by supervisor: plant, transplant, prune, stake, tie, and other general care of crops; prepare soil and fields for planting; remove weeds; maintain and clean up farm and fields; hoeing; pick up plastic; maintain and repair irrigation; operate tractors, forklifts, or other farm vehicles on and off farm property; Worker may be required to drive farmworkers on the farm and between worksites; harvest to quality standards bell peppers and summer squash. Pay will be hourly.

Special Requirements:

Job requires worker to complete tasks in general farm labor, and hand harvest of bell peppers and summer squash. Employer will provide instructions and training on specific job duties. 3 months of commercial agricultural experience in vegetable required. Applicants must furnish job references from recent employers within the past 3 years establishing acceptable prior experience. Drug testing done at employers' expense and not utilized as preemployment tool.
