- Job Duties:
- Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops such as loading, hauling hay; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery to fertilize, spray and harvest crops such as hay, silage; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Attend to live farm animals such as feeding, processing, birthing, moving, hauling, marketing; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; Attach implements using hand tools.
