Job Duties:
[*] Build and maintain miles of fences through rugged, steep terrain - Build perimeter fence line using T-Posts, fiberglass rods, and high-tensile smooth wire - Build many miles of single-strand electric fencing for internal paddocks - Repair or remove existing barbed wire fenced segments [*] Operate and maintain power tools such as chainsaws, post drivers, chop saws, and drills - Use hand-held power tools, such as chainsaws, to clear brush from fence lines - Use powered post driver to pound fence posts into the ground - Use electric chop saw and grinder to cut fiberglass rods to length [*] Assist with ranch infrastructure projects, including building water tanks, concrete foundations, and pipe trenches [*] Proficient at handling and moving livestock and goats on foot and on horseback [*] Proficient at care and use of pack mules to carry supplies to fence locations [*] Help with regular care of horses.

Special Requirements:
The candidate must have: - Strong knowledge and experience building and maintaining ranch infrastructure such as fences, water lines, and troughs - Experience in low-stress animal stockmanship - Proficiency in riding horses and herding cattle in rugged terrain - Comfortable using mules as pack animals to carry fence supplies and tools to remote locations - Strong physical fitness and stamina to perform physically demanding tasks - Experience with chainsaw - Ability to drive manual-transmission car for movement around the ranch
