- Job Duties:
- The duties of an apple and peach picker include: 1. Inspecting apple and peach trees to identify ripe fruit that is ready for harvesting. 2. Climbing ladders or using picking poles to reach fruit at the top of the trees. 3. Gently twisting or cutting the fruit from the tree to avoid damage. 4. Sorting and separating apples and peaches based on size, color, and quality standards. 5. Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the picking area to ensure efficiency. 6. Following safety guidelines and using proper equipment to prevent injuries. 7. Working efficiently to meet daily or weekly production goals. 8. Communicating with supervisors or team members to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth operations.
