Job Duties:

Crops: Onions, Corn, Wheat. Work duties will include onions, corn and wheat harvest. Duties performed in the field will be sporadic all through the contract due to various crops and crop conditions. Duties may/could include ground preparation, preparing soil, planting, pruning, cutting, deadheading, pinching, trimming to shape, spacing plants, pest management, cleaning work areas, transporting crop materials in the storage areas, loading, and unloading crops and all other duties associated with crop production. Workers will also unload pallets from trucks or wagons into fields. Worker may unload and restock for storage. Loading and unloading: workers may be required to work on flatbed trailer. Workers may be required to work loading or unloading by hand into refrigerated trailers. Workers will safely pick up, transport, and deliver crops to the designated storages/sheds. Workers may be required to work loading or unloading crops . Operate or maintain equipment used in agricultural production and field preparation such, as tractors, irrigation equipment, 4-wheelers, trucks, and other commonly used equipment in agriculture. Operate tractors to mow, weed spray and move bin/tote trailers in the orchard and fields. Workers with a clean MVR and able to obtain an insurable driver's license may be requested to drive company vehicles. Eligible workers may be asked to drive other workers. No workers will be terminated for failure to obtain a driver`s license - Drive vehicles to haul crops, supplies, farmworkers, and tools. CDL not required. Workers will not operate semitrucks.
