Job Duties:

Worker must have satisfactory understanding of electrical/hydraulic function of equipment and must be able to make minor adjustments and daily maintenance to equipment. Must be able to safely operate a chainsaw. Must be able to read, understand, interpret and execute harvest prescriptions issued by forester, landowner, or employer. Must have knowledge of tree species and demonstrate proper felling techniques and promptly determine most beneficial selection of cutting lengths. Must be able to read, understand, interpret and execute harvest prescription issued by forester, landowner and/or employer. Must have compatible understanding and knowledge of tree species. Must abide by all employer, landowner and OSHA regulations as they relate to forestry industry.
