Job Duties:

Worker must operate a track or tire mounted mechanical delimber. Must be able to identify trees according to species and sort in designated piles. Retrieves unlimbed trees from road sideyard, delimbs them and places them in orderly bunch for easy retrieval by loading crane. Must have the ability to work as a three member team and maintain productivity as a team. Must be able to safely operate carrier vehicle for delimber. Must perform routine maintenance on equipment. Must be able to read, understand, interpret and execute harvest prescription issued by forester, landowner and/or employer. Must have compatible understanding and knowledge of tree species. Must abide by all employer, landowner and OSHA regulations as they relate to forestry industry.

Must be in good physical condition and able to work in adverse weather. Must be at least 18 years of age and have six months referenced, paid production experience as a Delimber Operator.
