Job Duties:

Will work as a grapple skidder operator. Worker will operate a track or tire mounted grapple skidder.Worker must bunches logs or pulpwood according to type and size and haul it to roadside and/or yard. Worker must pile logs or pulpwood by specie and size in orderly piles. Must perform minor maintenance daily and repair equipment. Must have ability to work, communicate and maintain work performance as a three member team. Communicate means the ability of worker to use radio equipment and machines to communicate with team members. Must be able to read, understand, interpret and execute harvest prescription issued by forester, landowner and/or employer. Must have compatible understanding and knowledge of tree species. Must abide by all employer, landowner and OSHA regulations as they relate to forestry industry.
