- Operate farming equipment in order to harvest and haul grain crops. Work with cattle and move cattle to and from summer grazing pastures. Assist with calving duties during the calving period. Care for calves and nursing mothers. Vaccinate and treat sickness. General farm related duties such as facility maintenance and servicing equipment.
