- Job Duties:
- Workers will perform assigned duties as instructed by their supervisor. Farm Equipment Mechanic - Diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul farm machinery and vehicles. Employees must have sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in a mechanic shop environment; walk, stand and sit for prolonged periods of time; frequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach and twist, push, pull, lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds; operate assigned vehicles and equipment and verbally communicate information. The employer will provide the tools necessary to perform the described job duties without charge to the worker. The employer will charge the worker for reasonable costs related to the worker’s refusal or negligent failure to return the tools or due to such worker’s willful damage or destruction of the tools. Non-workers will not be permitted at the work sites or on company property without permission from the employer. Importantly, no non-working minor children under the age of 18 shall be present at the work site or left unattended in vehicles at the worksite during the day. Workers arriving at the worksite with non-working minor children or other non-workers will be sent home.

- Drug/Alcohol Testing: E-Berry Harvest may conduct criminal background check and random drug or alcohol tests at no cost to the worker. Failure to comply with the request or testing positive may result in immediate termination. All testing will occur post-offer/pre-employment and is not part of the interview process.
