Job Duties:

Attend to live farm, ranch animals that include cattle; Duties include feeding, watering, herding, grazing, castrating, branding, catching, receiving, processing, and loading animals; Maintain records on animals; Examine animals to detect diseases and injuries; Administer medications, vaccinations, or insecticides as appropriate; Clean and maintain animal housing areas; Inspect, maintain, fashion, repair livestock facilities, buildings, pens, yards, and fences; Check and replenish mineral; Drive trucks, tractors, and other equipment to distribute feed/commodities and to produce forage such as hay; Move equipment or livestock from one location to another; Shift animals between grazing areas to ensure that they have sufficient access to food; Break ice.

Special Requirements:

Employer requires employees to have a 3 year clean driving record for insurance purposes, Employer also has a lifting requirement of 100lbs. Moderate cell phone use will be allowed while working, but only for business purposes. Will be expose to hot and cold weather during the season. Employer also requires a minimum eduction of HS/GED.
