Job Duties:

Work will depend on weather conditions, crop or need. Weeding includes chile green and red, onions, cotton, pecans, ditch banks and surrounding areas. Hand harvesting of green and red chile and onions. Lifting requirements are 25 lbs. There will be repetitive movements, extensive walking, frequent stooping. Green or red chile will be destemmed deposited in a 7 gallon bucket, provided by employer at no charge to employee, carried no more than 50 ft to a collection bin and worker is given a token that will be counted and tallied at the end of each harvest day, workers will be paid each Thursday with receipts showing totals. Rock removal from fields and pecan trees. Trimming pecan trees,. Various duties at the chili processing plant. Tractor driver, equipment operator. Installation, removal and maintenance of drip irrigation lines. Readying of fields for irrigation Driving of vehicles. Helping with shop maintenance. Cleaning of shops and buildings Operation of forklifts. Various duties in greenhouses. Loading and stacking alfalfa bales.
