- Job Duties:
- Job duties include workers creating daily sugarcane harvest schedules and sugarcane harvest dispatching approximately 200 agricultural trucks, in direct connection with the harvesting of a perishable crop, from various worksites periodically checking employees timekeeping; 3 months previous experience in truck dispatching; job involves extensive sitting and repetitive movements; drug screening may be required upon hire and randomly (paid for by employer). Bonus may be paid at the end of contract at the discretion of the employer. Base hours offered is 49 hours; additional hours are usually offered during a plentiful season and may include an additional 10-40 hours of work depending on the nature of the season.
