Job Duties:

JOB DUTIES: 1.Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that gets along well with co-workers and management. 2. Follow established safety protocols and avoid accidents by attending safety training. 3. Follow biosecurity protocols by not having birds in your home and not visiting other farms. 4. Maintain regular and constant attendance in relation to the assigned schedule. 5. Work in a team environment. 6. Pack eggs into assigned boxes or pallets and work assigned hours daily following Supervisor's orders that are guided by daily production demands. 7. Observe the eggs moving on the conveyor, placing unusable eggs in the trash cans assigned to disposable eggs. 8. Ensure proper egg cartons with proper printing on the cartons are used and closed correctly. 9. Make sure date codes on boxes are legible, correct and facing the correct direction when eggs are packaged. 10. Remove damaged eggs from the boxes or those that fall to the floor and replace them with clean, undamaged eggs. 11. Place boxes of finished products in the appropriate assigned area as the eggs are packed. 12. Keep your work area clean, sanitary, safe and productive. This involves cleaning up any egg spills on the floor daily and properly disposing of waste in the trash daily as needed. 13. Report all incidents, accidents and observations to Shift Supervisor.
