Job Duties:

Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties related to the harvesting of potatoes. Duties related to the Harvesting of Potatoes will include the following: sorting and picking diseased/rotting product, rocks, and any foreign material from the harvested crop; alert equipment operator of equipment malfunctions and/or clogging of built-up product, aid the equipment operator in correct machine performance. Worker may be guiding trucks to the appropriate position to unload; drive, load/unload farm trucks and Ag exempt, non-CDL 10-wheel trucks; transport crops to onsite storage facilities; operating piling equipment; set up facilities for proper potato storage; move and adjust cellar equipment as needed; using a shovel and a wheelbarrow to haul and move dirt and debris; will be required to keep a clean working environment in and around the storage areas; workers possessing the proper licensure may be asked to transport other farm workers.
