Job Duties:

Water rice and check levees; check, repair and build fence as needed; sort cattle; clean brush; operate and repair farm equipment as needed; field preparations; water maintenance; manual shovel work; hoe weeds; spot spray; cut grass; make hay; repair buildings/equipment; maintain road/shop; unload/load trucks. Job involves frequent stooping and exposure to extreme temps; must be able to lift 50 pounds; random drug screening (paid by employer); two months previous experience required; unpaid vacation may be offered; bonus may be offered. Base hours offered is 40 hours offered; overtime hours are usually offered during plentiful season and may include an addition 10-40 hours of overtime work depending on the nature of the season; higher wages may be paid based on experience.

Special Requirements:

Drug testing may be conducted after hire and at employers expense. Employer performs post-hire random drug screening on all employees due to the work being performed in close proximity to large farm equipment as well as an array of tools with blades or sharp edges that the worker may come into contact with while performing required job duties. The drug screening is to ensure the safety of all employees.
